Dr. Jacob Gerlitz is an accomplished healthcare professional with a rich background in clinical practice, teaching, and executive management. With years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner and extensive expertise in integrative medicine and acupuncture, Dr. Gerlitz has dedicated his career to delivering exceptional patient care and promoting holistic well-being. Throughout his clinical journey, he has had the privilege of directly impacting the lives of countless individuals, providing comprehensive care from diagnostics to treatment, always with a focus on achieving harmony and balance in his patients' health.
Dr. Gerlitz is deeply committed to staying at the forefront of medical advancements, continuously refining his clinical skills, and offering the highest standard of care. His passion lies in empowering patients to achieve optimal health, and he approaches each clinical encounter with empathy, dedication, and a commitment to improving lives through rigorous, evidence-based medicine.
Dr. Gerlitz earned his doctorate in acupuncture and integrative Chinese medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. He graduated from Pace University, where he was recognized with the Student of the Year Award and for his role in Pace University’s Love, Legacy, Legend, and Leader Recognition Program. He is currently a clinical instructor at Columbia University and NYU. Dr. Gerlitz is a chronic pain support group leader for the U.S. Pain Foundation and is a member of the American Academy of Lifestyle Medicine.
